A 20th century Burmese Kyi-Waing gong frame, each section carved and pierced with foliage and applied with mirrored panels, height 59cm, diameter 133cm. Note: the Kyi-Waing is part of the Hsaing Waing, a traditional Burmese musical ensemble, and would have originally held a series of gongs to the interior.
