LOT 1142
A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch square brass dial with engraved matt centre, silvered subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, framed by a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, inscribed 'William Steer Cranley', all cornered with cherub and crown spandrels, the hood with triple arched surmount and brass ball and spire finial above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with crossbanded rectangular door, on a plain base and bracket feet, height 216cm, with pendulum and two weights.
