BINDINGS. The Holy Bible, Containing the Old and New Testaments: Translated out of the Original Tongues. London: G.E. Eyre and A. Spottiswoode, 1843. 32mo (113 x 61mm.) (Slight toning.) Contemporary black morocco with an elaborate gilt design of a view through a cathedral towards the chancel, using red, green and yellow morocco onlays, with bronze clasp and boss, g.e. (lightly rubbed). - And a further eight volumes (including 'The Book of Common Prayer', 1843, 32mo, bound with owner's name hand-coloured to the fore-edge with the words 'Read' and 'Digest' to the top and bottom edges) (9).
