BIBLE, in Latin. [Biblia: cum Summariorum apparatu pleno quadruplicique repertoire insignata.] Lyon: Jacobi Saconi, 1500 [but 1515.] 8vo (168 x 110mm.) 'Tabula alphabetica', woodcut initials and numerous woodcuts within text, 1 full-page woodcut, dated to colophon at RR4, 79pp. of 'Interpretationes' to rear. (Lacking title-page, large tear to a1, damp-staining throughout, lacking two leaves m1-m2, marginal losses to A7 and F1, browning, occasional spotting, intensely annotated in near contemporary hand, blanks replaced.) Early 20th century brown half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, green morocco lettering piece to the spine (light rubbing). Note: the colophon reads 'in officina Jacobi Saconi, anno Domini decimo quinto supra millesimum, duodecimo kalendas octobris' but lacking the word 'quingentesimo' after the word 'Domini' the book has mistakenly been thought to have been published in 1500.
