A rare creamware tea kettle or punch kettle and matched cover, circa 1770, probably Leeds, the globular body with twisted double-entwined overhead handle, foliate terminals, the spout with female mask moulded detail, unmarked, height 23cm (faults), together with a Wedgwood creamware pierced oval basket and stand, length of basket 25.3cm (stand cracked). Note: a black printed kettle of the same shape was sold as part of the Tom Wolford Collection of British Pottery, Bonhams, 18th December 2012, Lot 133.
