A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain vases and domed covers by Hichozan Shinpo, Meiji period, each ovoid body painted with opposing scenes of figures in landscapes reserved against a ground filled with peacock and chrysanthemums, painted iron red six-character mark to bases, height 43.5cm (both covers repaired).
