A 20th century brass ship's bulkhead timepiece, the brass movement with platform escapement, detailed 'Coventry Astral, Made in England' and numbered '23753', the painted dial with Roman hours, subsidiary seconds and slow/fast indicator and inscribed 'Smiths Astral', the cylindrical case with bevelled glass hinged bezel and adjustment button to side, diameter 26.5cm (faults).
