A Chinese celadon glazed vase, Ming style but probably Qing dynasty, of stout ovoid form, carved in relief with a pair of fenghuang (phoenixes) chasing a flaming pearl through clouds, covered in an olive glaze, height 23cm (misfired area of glaze to one side and firing crack to base).
