A pair of Chinese lacquered and painted wooden drums, Qing dynasty, of typical flattened circular form, the sides painted with dragons and flaming pearls on a red ground, mounted with three iron suspension rings, each hide covered end painted with blue, red and green dragons amidst vapours, secured with a row of iron studs, diameter 53cm, height 22.5cm (faults).
