A near pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain bowls, late Ming dynasty, one with mark of Chenghua but probably Wanli period, each of steep sided circular form, the exterior painted with four foliate roundels divided by lotus tendril sprays, the interior with central foliate roundel beneath a continuous landscape band, underglaze blue six-character mark within double ring to base of one, double ring to base of other, heights 9.7cm and 9.4cm, diameter 22cm (minor glaze chips/fritting to rim).
