A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, mark of Daoguang and possibly of the period, the yellow ground flared neck filled with lotus, scrolling tendrils, peach, bats and gilt shou characters, flanked by a pair of iron red and polychrome embellished scroll handles, the shouldered ovoid body painted with fruiting branches hanging over flowers, rocks and lingzhi fungus, above a yellow ground ruyi head border and a blue keyfret foot, the interior and base turquoise enamelled framing an iron red seal mark, height 29cm. Provenance: from a French private collection.
