A Japanese underglaze blue and red porcelain teapot and cover by Makuzu Kozan, Meiji period, the oval body moulded in relief with pinkish red and purple carp leaping from and above blue and white waves, all below clouds and vapours rising to a pierced rim, the cover with carp finial, moulded six-character mark to base, height 15cm (damage to pierced rim and handle repaired).
