LOT 1349
A large Nove faience vase, late 19th century, of exhibition quality, the bulbous body painted with a floral arrangement flanked by an emerging high relief crocodile to one side, surrounded by applied trailing ivy, a large bird of prey surmounted to the other side attacking a snake, the body of the snake entwined around the extended cylindrical neck, blue painted mark to side of vase, height 66.5cm (extensively repaired and restored).
