LOT 1305
A large pair of Italian maiolica albarelli, of Castelli type, late 19th/early 20th century, the baluster bodies polychrome painted with a female or male saint, one inscribed 'ELECT: CASSIA', the other 'AQ: FLO: AUR:', surrounded by flowers and foliage in blue outlined in black, height 30.5cm (faults). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
