A Dutch Delft pharmacy jar, 18th century, of albarello form, painted in blue with a label inscribed 'CAERULEUM', surmounted by a basket flanked by peacocks above a mask, height 18cm (restored), together with a larger jar of high shouldered form, Dutch, late 18th/19th century, inscribed 'SPAANSE' within an elaborate blue cartouche, painted '8' to base, height 28cm (rim restored) and three other pieces of Dutch Delft (some restoration). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
