A tin-glazed earthenware albarello, probably Spanish (Seville), late 18th/19th century, the waisted body polychrome painted with a crowned rampant lion armorial above an 'SDA' monogram within a foliate garland, height 26cm (cracked). Provenance: from the collection of the late Professor Maurice Stacey.
