Folio (283 x 184mm.) (Browning, marginal insect damage to rear leaves.) Contemporary calf (rebacked, rubbing to extremities). Provenance: William Nicholson (bookplate to the front pastedown); Marianne Welland (name-plate to front pastedown); Reg White (pencil name inscribed to front pastedown); Bedford Hotel, Tavistock (stamp to front-free endpaper). - And a further three related volumes (including an English translation of Louis Ellies Dupin's 'A Compleat Method of Studying Divinity', 1720, 8vo) (4).
