CHILDREN'S BOOKS. - Michael BOND. Paddington Abroad. London: Collins, 1961. First edition, first printing, 8vo (199 x 128mm.) Numerous illustrations by Peggy Fortnum. (Faint mark to front-free endpaper.) Original blue cloth (lightly bumped spine ends, slight fading to extremities), dust-jacket (price-clipped, some fading). Provenance: 'David' (gift inscribed to on the front-free endpaper). - And five further volumes in the Paddington Bear series (including a first printing of 'Paddington Marches On', 1964, 8vo) (6).
