A late 19th century French brass circular cased ship's style wall timepiece, the unsigned movement with platform escapement and numbered '12293', the circular white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and subsidiary seconds and inscribed 'E. Nicolle Troy, Johannesburg, Made in Paris', the cylindrical case with hinged bevelled glass bezel, case diameter 22cm.
