A George III silver pair cased key wind open-faced gentleman's pocket watch, the gilt fusee movement with verge escapement and scroll pierced and engraved balance cock, the backplate signed 'WM Thornton London' and numbered '8637', the enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals, London 1774, watch case diameter 3.9cm, outer case diameter 4.7cm.
