A Sino-Tibetan carved rhinoceros horn bead necklace, Qing dynasty, comprising eighteen beads carved in the form of a different immortal's head and another carved in relief with lotus leaves, divided by fourteen spherical beads, hung with silvered, coral and turquoise set tassels, total weight 496g, total length approximately 100cm, each spherical bead diameter 2.3cm, each immortal head length 3.2cm to 3.5cm. Provenance: formerly the property of Alain Presencer. Note: as this lot incorporates rhinoceros horn, it would be very unlikely that a re-export certificate would be granted beyond the EU. Customers outside the EU are requested NOT to bid on this item.
