A Chinese export porcelain plate and matching soup plate, late Qianlong/Jiaqing period and later, each later painted with a half-length portrait of a standing maiden grooming the beard of a seated gentleman, within a trellis rim divided by four bird and grass vignettes, diameters 26.2cm and 23.2cm.
