A Chinese hardwood two-tier stand, late Qing dynasty, the top inset with a rouge marble panel within a carved border of flowers, leaves and beading, the carved and pierced frieze with shou medallion and a pair of deer, raised on cabriole legs with bird and twin fish shoulders, united by a panelled undertier on carved foliate feet, height 81cm, width of top 49cm.
