A 20th century verdigris cast metal sundial noon cannon by Negretti & Zambra, diameter 35.5cm, mounted on a square stone base and later cast composition plinth, height 70cm (lacking lens elements). Note: this is a device consisting of a sundial incorporating a cannon with a fuse that is lit by an overhanging lens, concentrating the rays of the sun.
