LEVERSON, Ada. The Twelfth Hour. London: E. Grant Richards, 1907. First edition, 8vo (193 x 122mm.) Colour frontispiece by Frank Haviland. (Browning to margins.) Original green cloth, decorative gilt to upper cover and spine (lightly bumped spine ends). Note: scarce. Leverson was known as a wit and writer in fin-de-siècle London. She was a loyal friend to Oscar Wilde who called her 'the Sphinx'. Provenance: F.R. Furber (name-plate to front pastedown).
