LOT 325
A mid-19th century Dutch silver gilt and mother-of-pearl snuff box of rectangular form with reeded banding to sides, the hinged lid inset with a mother-of-pearl panel, carved in relief with the Abduction of Europa, she sitting atop a bull as it heads into the sea, leaving the Virgins of Tyre waving from the shore, Amsterdam 1840, length 11.1cm (gilt worn).
