A late 19th century French ormolu and 'Sèvres' style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain circular dial painted with a scene of cherubs within a jewelled bleu céleste and gilt border framing black Roman hour numerals, the fluted drum case above scroll supports inset with a pair of porcelain panels, centred with a lion mask supporting acanthus festoons, on an inverted breakfront base and toupie feet, height 27.8cm (lacking pendulum and bell).
