A French Empire ormolu cased mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension, striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the domed case with relief moulded dial above a panel of a classical figure and bust, flanked by a classical maiden to one side and torchère with oil lamp and laurel wreath to other, the rectangular plinth applied with a classical scene oval panel, on a rectangular base and lyre moulded feet, height 50cm (bell detached but present and pendulum lacking).
