An 18th century Continental all-steel main-gauche or parrying dagger with tapering diamond-section blade, blade length 42.5cm, with sword-breaker forks and all-over etched foliate and military trophy of arms design, foliate decorated cross guard, embossed and cast guard, decorated with a battle scene, spiral fluted grip and fluted pommel, with fishskin-covered and steel-mounted scabbard (damage and losses).
