A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain rectangular planters, late Qing dynasty, each painted with opposing panels of birds perched amidst prunus blossom, flanked by panels of flowers and foliage including millet, lotus and peony, the upper rims with an iron red keyfret border, one with printed iron red seal mark to base, other unmarked, length 22.3cm (minor faults).
