A late Victorian Arts and Crafts ebonized ash Sussex side chair, probably by Morris & Co and thought to be designed by Ford Maddox Brown, the 'X' frame back above a rounded rush seat, on ring turned legs united by stretchers, height 81cm, width 44.5cm (some faults).
