LOT 1157
A late 19th/early 20th century French brass cased carriage alarm clock, the eight day movement repeating, striking hours and half hours and alarm on a single gong, the backplate numbered '1233', the enamel chapter ring and subsidiary alarm dial within a finely pierced and engraved surround of foliate scrolls and a pair of rampant lions, the glazed case with fluted handle and corner pillars, on turned feet, height 17.9cm, with key and travelling case.
