Circle of Peter Lely - Oval Half Length Portrait of a Gentleman, and Oval Half Length Portrait of a Lady, a pair of 17th century oils on canvas, each 71.5cm x 57.5cm, both within gilt composition frames. Note: the sitters are believed to be from the Fosbrooke family of Shardlow and Ravenstone Hall, Leicestershire, the portraits remaining in the family by direct descent.
