A Chinese lacquer six-fold screen, early 20th century, one side inset with soapstone and gilt with scenes of figures and pavilion settings above smaller panels of birds in blossoming and fruiting branches on a black ground, within mother-of-pearl inlaid trellis borders, the reverse with gilt flowers on a red ground, 183cm x 244.5cm (minor faults).
