A late 19th century French gilt spelter and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with Japy Frères maker's mark, the porcelain dial with Roman hours and floral band against a bleu céleste and gilt ground, the drum case with urn surmount above leaves and floral festoons, inset with further porcelain panels, case back stamped 'P.H. Mourey', height 33.2cm, with pendulum, ebonized base and glass dome.
