A late 19th century French red tortoiseshell veneered and ormolu mounted wall clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with S. Marti maker's mark, the circular enamel dial with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, the waisted case with mask and scroll surmount above a bevelled glass front door and glazed sides, the apron with applied scallop shell, scroll and mask mounts, height 54cm, with sunburst mask pendulum and winding key.
