LOT 1165
A late 17th/early 18th century brass lantern clock, the weight driven movement with verge escapement striking on a bell, the dial with tulip and floral engraved centre and single hand, framed by a silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and fleur-de-lis divisions, the case of typical form with domed bell surmount and turned finial above pierced and engraved fish and lily fret panels, the turned side columns with hinged side panels, on turned ball feet, height 38cm, with weight and later oak 17th century style wall bracket.
