A 17th century and later composite cup-hilted rapier with diamond section blade, blade length 88.5cm, detailed 'Pether Bras Vonn Meigen 16 14', pierced and decorated cup-shaped hilt, scrolling guards, wire bound hardwood grip and fluted pommel (later alterations).
