A Plaue German porcelain oil lamp base in the form of an owl, circa 1900, the white glazed bird with glass eyes, raised on a brown glazed naturalistic base, with Zimmermann & Co fittings, glass chimney and opaque white shade, underglaze blue and impressed factory marks to base, height of owl 25cm.
