A Chinese celadon jade mounted brass rectangular box, 18th century and later, the jade top finely carved and pierced with four sheep and a monkey among the branches of a broad leafed peach tree, the same subject repeated on the engraved hinged lid interior, the sides engraved with twelve further sheep and two monkeys, stamped mark to base, length 8.3cm, height 4.5cm.
