A George III silver teapot of oval form, later embossed and engraved with flowers and scrolling leaves framing opposing cartouche, each inscribed 'Presented to Mr George Stephenson as a testimonial of respectful esteem by the workmen under his Immediate Superintendance at Messrs Peters & Sons Coach Manufactory', London 1798 by Solomon Hougham, length 29cm.
