Egyptian or Arab School - HMS Dragon, the Doterel-class Screw Sloop, 19th century watercolour, indistinctly signed in Arabic, 15cm x 22cm, within a maple frame. Note: HMS Dragon took part in the Egyptian War in 1882 and later worked to suppress slavery in the Persian Gulf and East Africa.
