Nicolai Barchenkov - 'Towards Evening' (Winter Landscape, Russia), oil on board, signed recto, titled and with Union of Artists of the U.S.S.R. Art Fund exhibition label verso, 65cm x 48cm, within a gilt and hessian frame. Note: this work was exhibited at the Soviet Paintings for Sale exhibition at the Royal Academy Diploma Galleries, London, in 1967.
