MANUSCRIPT. [A hand-written album of poetical and prose extracts with original water-colours. N.p: 1823-1832]. 105pp. manuscript and 49pp. blank to rear, 4to (231 x 183mm.) Unnumbered pages, extracts from poems and prose pieces in several legible hands, including 5 full page original drawings in water-colour and pencil, 3 water-coloured vignettes and ornaments. (Browning to margins, 1 drawing loose, text-block cracked, 1 water-colour laid-in.) Original vellum binding, gilt initials to upper cover, gilt lettering to spine (soiling). Note: contains poems by Milton, John Clare and Dryden, but also many by unknown poets. The drawings are mainly views of churches.
