LOT 1259
A late 19th century French gilt metal and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain dial with Roman hour numerals and a scene of a courting couple within bleu céleste and gilt borders, the case inset with further similar figural and floral panels beneath an urn surmount, height 35.5cm, with pendulum and giltwood stand (dial cracked), together with a pair of similarly decorated bleu céleste ground porcelain vases with gilt metal mounts, each ovoid body painted with opposing panels of classical figures and birds and their nests in landscapes, height 31cm (some faults).
