A late 19th century Japanese shitan wood cased shaku-dokei pillar clock, the brass movement with balance wheel above turned baluster columns flanking a pierced and engraved front plate, the rectangular trunk with removable brass mounted hour scale, the brass hour pointer attached to a concealed lead weight, terminating in a key drawer, height 40.8cm (lacking glazed hood and some faults).
