AUTOGRAPH. A hand-written note signed by William Thackeray, 17cm x 10.5cm, the note dated 'Monday' reads 'My Dear Senior, I am yours for tomorrow - only please look to see that I don't eat and drink too much of the good things. Always yours, W.M. Thackeray' (folded and with tear to one corner and small unobtrusive repair to fold), mounted with an engraving of the novelist and framed as one within a gilt section.
