A Chinese Canton export ivory and sandalwood table screen and stand, mid to late 19th century, the rectangular sandalwood framed and glazed screen with an ivory twin dragon surmount above an inset ivory panel, finely carved and pierced with a scene of a dignitary seated in a pavilion with two attendants, watching a pleasure barge as immortals and mythical beasts approach with mountains and trees beyond, the stand inset with carved and pierced ivory vignettes above a carved and pierced lotus and tendril frieze, total height 36cm (minor faults and two ivory flange panels missing).
