A collection of Chinese silkwork embroideries, mostly late Qing dynasty, comprising an altar panel, worked in coloured and metallic thread with the eight immortals on an orange ground above a tasselled border, 57.5cm x 336cm, two further red ground altar panels, one decorated with a scene of dignitaries, attendants and horse and elephant-drawn chariots, 44.5cm x 216cm, the other with birds, butterflies and peony, 50cm x 203cm, a black silk robe, decorated with gilt thread dragons, and another black silk robe, decorated in coloured thread with dragons and phoenixes.
