LOT 4030
An Edwardian Arts and Crafts mahogany tea table, designed by Leonard Francis Wyburd for Liberty & Co, the shaped rectangular top raised on four block supports, each inlaid with a stylized flower, the undertier with projecting ends supported by curved brackets, terminating in block feet, height 68cm, width 77.5cm, depth 55cm. Note: this table design is illustrated in '|The Studio| Year-Book of Decorative Art' of 1906 and shown in a watercolour by Wyburd in '|The Studio| Year-Book of Decorative Art' of 1907. Both are shown in 'Liberty's Furniture 1875-1915' by Daryl Bennett, pages 246 and 256.
